I LOVE this mop! For the first time in almost two months since we moved into our house, my floors feel clean to the bottom of my feet. I walk around my house barefoot and, since I live in Germany, that is a lot of bare floors. At night I would crawl into bed with the most disgusting lint and dirt on the bottom of my feet. After using this mop last night, I am happy to say that my tile floors look and feel clean and so do my feet.
Assembly was not too tricky and pretty intuitive. You slide the handle into the top opening on the tank, and slide the plastic mop head into the bottom of the tank. Then you cover the mop head with a great microfiber cleaning pocket that velcroes shut so there is no slipping. It is super easy to use. You just pump it about 20 times to get it going. Then, as long as you keep a pretty good pace, you don't have to pump it again. It automatically pumps as you push and pull the mop. If you stop, or go super slow in places, you'll have to pump it some more to get the steam going again. I have to use a bulky transformer, since it is American voltage, and I live in Europe, but with it's super long cord, I only had to lug the transformer ONCE to change plugs for Kitchen, Dining room, Living Room, Hallway, AND Stairs. At first when I saw that the tank only holds about two cups of water, I thought I'd be filling it a lot, but nope, I only had to refill the tank once for my entire floor-- 4 cups of water for about 1000 square feet--that is amazing. And I only had to use one of the two included cleaning pads. When the cleaning pad got dirty, it was so convenient to just flip the entire mop head over without even bending over for second surface to clean with--definitely a plus for design. The mop comes with two microfiber cleaning pads of each type (triangular and rectangular) so I still have a spare if I need to use the mop again before I wash the first one. Speaking of the triangular pads--they go to the included triangular mop-head. I didn't use that one. The rectangular one did great even in my corners. The mop has a swivel feature, so it's easy to turn the mop to get into the smaller spaces. (Like behind the couches).
The floors were wet to the touch right after mopping, but were probably dry within 10 minutes. I can't think of anything I'd do to improve this mop.
